In Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty Jackalope ) is the version 3.0.1 that has been greatly improved and implemented new features with the release of version 3.1.0 .
Per installare il nuovo software occorre rimuovere quello vecchio digitando i seguenti comandi da " Terminale ":
sudo apt-get remove openoffice*.*
rm -fr .openoffice.org
Inoltre, per il corretto funzionamento della suite , bisogna installare il pacchetto " sun-java6-jre " con "Synaptic" (Sistema/Amministrazione/Gestore pacchetti Synaptic).
Non rimane che scaricare sulla scrivania " OpenOffice 3.1.0 " dall'indirizzo " http://it.openoffice.org/download/3.1.0/download310.html ", scompattarlo (dopo averlo copiato nella " Cartella home ") selezionando il comando " Estrai qui " (con il tasto destro del mouse) e installarlo (da " Terminale ") con il seguente comando:
sudo dpkg -i OOO310_m11_native_packed-3_it.9399/DEBS/*.deb
L'ultima operazione consiste nell'installazione delle " icone " di OpenOffice. Aprire con un doppio click la cartella " OOO310_m11_native_packed-3_it.9399 " che si trova nella " Cartella home "(My / home folder) and enter the" DEBS "repeating the double click on" desktop-integration . "At that folder find the file" openoffice.org3.1-debian-menus_3. 1-9393_all.deb "that will install the icons with another double click on it.
